First, the storyboard was created and then came my character design in Photoshop…

....after having a clearer idea and playing around with some effects in After Effects, I decided that my planet would also be a frame_by_frame animation using some brush textures...

Animating the characters was a lot of fun using the same brush textures....then creating some of the cutest GIFs using them…..
